Ground truth is a term used in various fields to refer to information provided by direct observation (for example empirical evidence). To enhance the infinite detail and construct a perceivable. This working machine and its system is providing a macro scale mapping process and interface to explore these tiny worlds.
Technical Specs
The working machine consists of a motor driven arm that can be articulated by a wheel on the outer end of the arm.
A gantry is mapped to take pictures along the arm and sends them to a central computation device. Consecutavely the partial pictures are stitched into a map of the radial field. The Screen provides a preview of the cameras vision.
Output
This detail is translated into an archivable and experiencable data collection embedded into Open Street Map as a datalayer.
